Why It Matters

NMEA2000 is the standardized communication protocol that powers digital telemetry across marine dashboards, multifunction displays (MFDs), and onboard systems. Until now, integrating BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices into NMEA2000 has been not available.
Savant Technology saw the challenge—and the opportunity. The result is the Savant DataLink BLE NMEA2000 – Gateway, a purpose-built device that translates BLE data into NMEA2000 messages, making BLE-enabled devices fully interoperable with existing marine electronics.

• Preloaded PGNs: All approved NMEA2000 Parameter Group Numbers (PGNs) are pre-coded into the gateway for immediate use.
• Simple Onboarding: Use the Savant Gateway App to authorize BLE devices with a secure handshake to the NMEA2000 bus.
• System-Wide Visibility: Once connected, data from your BLE devices appears instantly across all MFDs and devices linked to the NMEA2000 network.
